5 Tips To Get Your Kid To Eat More Fruits & Veggies
Eating fruit and veggies is so important for everyone, including growing children. However, if you're a parent, you know what a struggle it is to get your children to eat their fruits and vegetables.
Here are our 5 top tips to get your kids to eat their fruits and veggies;
1. Keep fresh fruit and vegetables washed, cut up and ready to eat in plain sight, that way when they are hungry they are more likely to reach for those over other snacks.
2. Try sneaking vegetables in to pasta sauces and baked items. Vegetarian recipes are a great way to sneak in more veggies. Also, our juices which are made of real fruit juice are a great way to sneak in some fruit.
3. Include a serve of vegetables at every meal, that way it becomes the norm to eat vegetables. Encourage your child to eat their vegetables first before moving on to other parts of their meal.
4. Get your kids involved in the grocery shopping. Ask them to pick out one to two fruits or vegetables that they want to eat this week.
5. Make sure you lead by example. Monkey see, monkey do!
